Planting a tree! Seeds for the future.
A century ago, the headwaters of the River Pance were primary cloud forests populated by a great diversity of precious wood tree species. The colonization and growth of the city of Cali generated the destruction of large forest areas and the almost total destruction of 40 forest species valuable. The Fundación Farallones has achieved the natural regeneration of 18 old cattle ranches and has begun the reintroduction of _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d species such as endangered species : Curly Cumin, Black Oak, Yolombo, Rock Ivory, Maco among others.
We invite you to participate in the planting of curly cumin(ANIBA PERUTILIS)so that future generations have sources of seeds for the reconstruction of the forests of our mountain ranges.
The Foundation hopes to plant 1,000 specimens and maintain them for 3 years. We invite you to buy one of these trees to be planted and cared for on the grounds of the Farallones Foundation in Alto Pance. Value of each tree$20,000pesos.
